Yomeishu is a herbal liqueur using more than 10 types of herbs immersed in a wine base and matured for two months. This manufacturing method is different from the current popular method where ingredients are extracted easily.

This prescription is made in Japan based on the traditional Oriental medicine.

Having fragrance of herbs

The fragrance of Yomeishu is derived from active medicinal ingredients (especially components of essential oil). These components are absorbed from mucous membrane of the oral cavity or digestive system and exert their effects in Yomeishu.

Yomeishu is faintly sweet

Yomeishu has an alcohol content of only 14 percent. The sweetness is due to glucose (and taking 60 mL per day accounts for only 120 kcal).
